Ready – Set – Fight

Now it’s official; for the first time ever Microsoft sued another company over patent issues related to the use of Linux. Now we’re really in the ‘Fight’ stage of Ghandi’s old saying: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Tomtom was sued for the use of the FAT file system in some of its devices. Apparently there are some patents related to the inherent filesystem-management of Linux. I’m curious how these hold up in court.
